How is TNEB Bill Calculated?
For domestic connections, bills are calculated on a bi-monthly basis (once every two months). The first 100 units are free for all households. Rates are based on the latest Tariff Order effective from July 2025.

Note: If your total consumption exceeds 500 units, you lose the subsidized ₹2.35 rate for the 101-200 slab. Instead, the 101-400 range is charged flat at ₹4.70.
